The views on a fine day standing on Druid's Altar are stunning. The name suggests ancient happenings but there seems to be little evidence. The Druid's Altar is a huge piece of gritstone looking not unlike an altar.

This view shows Baildon Moor which certainly was inhabited by ancient folk. The Dobrudden Stone has cup and ring markings. I think this stone is now in Cliffe Castle Museum Keighley. Rooftops of Bingley College can be seen to the mid left. |
