1974 cup match in very dodgy conditions. The College Team played in the local Yorkshire Old Boys League on Saturdays as well as playing college teams on Wednesdays.

I think the supporter in the sheepskin coat (bottom left) could well be Ray Stirling the Principal at the time.

The College pitch was laid by the Sports Turf Research Institute (STRI) based at the St Ives Estate and was always hailed as a fine playing surface. Indeed, it was said that Wembley turf was from the same Bingley company. Sadly, the pitch doesn't exist anymore as houses have been built on this valuable residential land.
