I suspect this hall was built mid 1960s as part of the laundry, gym and refectory complex. Note curtains in very cubist style. |

Mostly PE students here taking teatime delights from the Mrs Gee emporium in about 1975. Mrs Gee was a fearsome canteen manager with a lovely Irish accent. I recall I got into her good books when me mam visited one weekend and presented her with a crocheted handkerchief. After that Mrs Gee made sure I was well nourished even though I didn't always have my meal pass. |
